Veteran's Day Assembly, Nov 10th

Shoshone students were a wonderful audience today during our Veteran's Day Assembly.  We are so proud of the outstanding citizenship they showed to our veterans and represenatives from the armed forces.  Our students were able to participate in the assembly by singing "Thank a Vet", and helping the guest speaker with their special word "Sacrifice".  It was a wonderful assembly for everyone involved.

Awards Assembly on Monday November 7th

Students and teachers celebrated learning successes on Monday, Nov 7th.  Students were recognized for having perfect attendance, being Shining Stars, having high achievement, and being good citizens in their classrooms and on the playground.  Certificates were given, and prizes were drawn.  Additionally students participated in games if they had perfect attendance, and 100% of their homework turned in on time. Mr. Thueson gave us information on the history of our United States flag and how to take good care of it, and Miss Wendy told us about a new contest to collect Box Tops for Education.  It was a great assembly and we are proud of our students here at Shoshone Elementary!  Let's keep up the good work!

Halloween Celebrations

Halloween was a spooky day at Shoshone Elementary.  Students started the day with a parade through all the elementary classrooms and finished the day with parties in their rooms.  Many parents joined in the celebration, and even our staff got in on the action! The pictures tell the story of how fun the day was. If you weren't able to be a part of the day this time, mark your calendar to be here next year!
